Robotic & automation systems intergator Bauromat UK Limited were pleased to welcome Made in The Midlands chairman Lord Mike Whitby to its factory last week to talk through all things manufacturing.
Eager to continue to promote automation and robotics, Lord Whitby’s visit gave Bauromat an opportunity to relay to a member of the House of Lords the positivity of the process in hope that it will be relayed to Parliament.
“It’s something we talk about everyday here” said Managing Director John D’Angelillo
“The only way for automation in the UK to catch up with the rest of the world is to be positive and continue to promote it.
“Having someone like Lord Mike Whitby visit us gives us that exact opportunity, and we hope it’s a message that he’ll carry with him to Parliament.”
Lord Whitby also gave a rousing speech to the entire Bauromat staff about the importance of manufacturing to the British economy and how robotics companies like Bauromat are helping with the development of the industry.
