#Gallery: Bauromat UK Limited Best Practice EventMade News
Today at Bauromat UK Limited, a robotics & automation systems integrator that specialises in providing automated solutions for a range of manufacturing processes, over 55 members of the Made in the Midlands family gathered for the Made in the Midland.
Guests were treated to a best practices presentation by Bauromat’s Managing Director, John D’Angellilo. In the discussion, which you can watch in its entirety below, topics ranging from why and how companies should, and can move towards automation were discussed, along with an in-depth look at why automation, “despite what you may read in the news in regards to issues like its relation to unemployment, is nothing to be scared of”.

Guests then split into groups of ten, each of which was then taken on a guided tour of the factory floor. The room, filled with workers from programmers to apprentices, welders to managers, was alive with over a dozen robots being worked on, designed, tested, or, for our members, being demonstrated.
After the guided tour of the facilities, guests then met back in the demonstration room for continued networking. Here, Made in member Gotronic Ltd., who frequently attends our networking breakfasts, and has seen the benefits: “We attend these networking events to build relationships and hopefully generate business”.
Our next event takes place on Thursday the 12th of September at Air Products. This networking breakfast will provide an insight into the work that Air Products are currently doing and will feature a specialty gas production and liquid nitrogen demonstration. As a Made in the Midlands member, you can get your ticket here.
